Located on the southwestern corner of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, cradled between the snow-capped Olympic Mountains and the mighty Pacific Ocean, the Quinault Indian Nation is one of the largest employers in Grays Harbor County. The Nation offers employees a generous benefits package including medical care, 401(k) retirement accounts, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, AD&D benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, a wellness program, and more. Employees have the option to purchase AFLAC and Voluntary Life Insurance coverage.

The Quinault Human Resources Department provides a personnel policy that is fair and effective for employees and management. They strive to increase the promotions of Quinault tribal members into positions within the Quinault Indian Nation utilizing career development and training. They strive to hire the best qualified person for each vacant position, abide by all employment laws and policies that affect the QIN, assist management in the interpretation of policies and procedures and maintain personnel records for all QIN employees.

The Quinault Human Resources Department, as a strategic partner with all Tribal departments and enterprises, delivers quality services to the Tribe and its community by guiding and facilitating the employment of highly qualified team members: cultivating, developing, and growing its most vital resources, its Tribal Members, to become highly qualified for positions in the Tribe; and maintaining a safe and legally compliant work environment for the Tribes’ employees.
