Fishing Licenses

Non-tribal members must be accompanied by an authorized fishing guide to fish on the Reservation, except Lake Quinault. Guides are listed on the Quinault Indian Nation home page

Quinault fishing regulations (sport and subsistence) for river, ocean and harbor fisheries can be found HERE.

In general:

Sport fishing on Lake Quinault usually opens in April and ends in October. Current fishing regulations for Lake Quinault can be found HERE.  Fishing permits (3-day or season-long) for Lake Quinault may be purchased at the Rainforest General Store on the south shore of the lake and at the Amanda Park Mercantile.

Non-Tribal Members

Non-tribal members must be accompanied by an authorized fishing guide to fish on the Reservation's rivers and beaches. Guides are listed on the Quinault Indian Nation home page HERE.  

Quinault Tribal Members

Tribal members who are requesting fishing (river fish, halibut, clams) for ceremonial purposes should contact Dora Underwood at the QDNR Fish and Game Office at 360-276-8215, ext. 372.

Applications for tribal members to fish Reservation and off-Reservation fisheries (rivers, ocean, Grays Harbor) may be picked up from the QDNR Fish and Game Office, 1214 Aalis Dr., Bldg C, Taholah, WA.
